Award a contract to ASI Paving to complete the asphalt overlay of Point Drive Road and use $27,800.00 of Budget Cost Savings to supplement $1,670.00 of budgeted funds to fund this project. RESOLUTION NO. 48-15 A RESOLUTION OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF TEQUESTA, FLORIDA, AWARDING A CONTRACT TO ASI PAVING INCORPORATED IN THE AMOUNT OF $29,470.00 TO COMPLETE THE ASPHALT OVERLAY OF POINT DRIVE ROAD AND AUTHORIZING THE VILLAGE MANAGER TO EXECUTE ON BEHALF OF THE VILLAGE PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY; PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES. WHEREAS, the Village wants to complete the asphalt overlay of Point Drive Road; WHEREAS; the Public Works Department received three bids and ASI Paving Incorporated was the lowest of three bidders; WHEREAS: the Village intends to use $27,800.00 of Budget Cost Savings to supplement $1,670.00 of budgeted funds to fund this project; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF TEQUESTA, PALM BEACH COUNTY, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS: Section 1 Resolution No. 48-15 is hereby approved awarding a contract to ASI Paving Incorporated in the amount of $29,470.00 to complete the asphalt overlay of Point Drive Road; Section 2 This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon passage.
