WHEREAS, the purchase of this truck is not funded in the 2014-2015 General Fund budget and; WHEREAS, the Village of Tequesta has in excess of $340,000.00 of Building Department Restricted Fund Balance available to fund this purchase as of the 9/30/2014 audited financial statements and; WHEREAS, the Building Department is requesting to replace an older model (2003 Dodge) with the purchase of a new vehicle and; WHEREAS, the contract with Alan Jay Fleet Sales is a piggy-back contract with the Florida Sheriff's Association and Florida Association of Counties; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF TEQUESTA, PALM BEACH COUNTY, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS: Section 1 Resolution No. 57-15 is hereby approved appropriating restricted fund balance and increasing the Fiscal Year 2014-2015 General Fund Budget by $21,535.00. I am very thankful that you were both �villing and able to arrange that transaction, ho�ve�rer, continued repair of these �rehicles has become more costly than pretiiously antic.ipated.
