HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution_59-15_08/13/2015 RESOLUTION NO. 59 -15 A RESOLUTION OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF TEQUESTA, FLORIDA, INCREASING THE FISCAL YEAR 2014/2015 GENERAL FUND BUDGET BY $70,000.00; APPROPRIATING FUND BALANCE AND INCREASING EXPENDITURES IN THAT AMOUNT TO FUND CONSTRUCTION COSTS ASSOCIATED WITH CONNECTING TO THE SANITARY SEWER SYSTEM AVAILABLE AT THE `TEQUESTA PARK ASSESSMENT AREA'; PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY; PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES. WHEREAS, the Loxahatchee River District requires that Tequesta Park connect to the available and approved sanitary sewer system by October 1, 2015; WHEREAS, the Village leases Tequesta Park and is responsible for assessments and improvements under the lease agreement; WHEREAS, the Village Council approved connecting to the sanitary sewer system available at the ` Tequesta Park Assessment Area', WHEREAS, an appropriation of Fund Balance is required to fund this project; WHEREAS, the following budgeted accounts will be increased: Revenues: Appropriate Fund Balance, #001 - 990 - 399.999 $70,000.00.00 Expenditures: Public Works Misc Projects, #001 - 210 - 563.600 $70,000.00.00 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF TEQUESTA, PALM BEACH COUNTY, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS: Section 1 The Village Council hereby adopts Resolution 59 -15 increasing the fiscal year 2014/2015 General Fund Budget by $70,000.00, appropriating Fund Balance and increasing expenditures in that amount. Section 2 This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon passage.
