WHEREAS, the Village of Tequesta seeks to enter into a one {1) year contract with Sheehan Turf Care, of Jupiter, FL to maintain the ballfields at Tequesta Park. WHEREAS, the Public Works Department will have funding available in its Landscape and Irrigation Maintenance account in the Fiscal Year 2015/2016. THERE ARE MANY HOMES THAT HAVE INOPERABLE IRRIGATION SYSTEMS, OR ARE OPERATING AT LESS THAN DESIRABLE LEVELS TO PROMOTE LUSH, AND HEALTHY TURF. THE CONDITION OF MOST OF THE LAWNS, AS WELL AS ORNAMENTALS ARE IN STEADY DECLINE AS THEYARE INFESTED WITH FUNGI , WHITE FLY, SPIRAL WHITE FLY FOR EXAMPLE.
