Chambers, Public Works Superintendent Subject : Tequesta Drive Pathway Lighting Project Date : January 4, 2017 The attached agenda item addresses the need to add seven ( 7) additional LED Bollard lights along the pedestrian pathway on the south side of Tequesta Drive from Country Club Drive heading east to the First Presbyterian Church. The original photo-metrics were based on Metal Halide Fixtures. Due to the change in fixture type the lights will need to be spaced closer together in order to provide adequate lighting on the path. The additional cost is $13,697.00. Funding is budgeted and available � in 001-201-663.652 = $50,000 Pathway Improvements ' Douglas M. O1-16 A RESOLUTION OF TIiE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF TEQUESTA, FLORIDA, APPROVING THE PURCHASE OF 7 CONCRETE LED PATHWAY BOLLARDS FROM K&M ELECTRIC SUPPLY IN THE AMOUNT OF $13,67.00; PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY; PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES. WHEREAS, the Village had identified and Council approved (RES 93-15) the need for lighting along the pathway on the south side of Tequesta Drive from Country Club Drive to the First Presbyterian Church in the amount of $33,617.00. WHEREAS, a photo metric's analysis shows the need to space the light fixtures closer together there is a need to add seven (7) additional light fixtures on the path which will increasing the cost of the project by $13,697.00. WHEREAS, the Public Works Department has funding available in account # 301-210-663.652, PathwayiSidewalk Improvements with a Fiscal Year 2015/2016 Budget of $50,000.00. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF TEQUESTA, PALM BEACH COUNTY, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS: Section 1 Resolution No. O1-16 approving the purchase of LED Bollards from K&M Electric Supply in the amount of $13,697.00 for the pedestrian path on Tequesta Drive is hereby approved; Section 2 This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon passage.
