The Special Magistrate appointed by the Village Council to hear code compliance cases
for the Village of Tequesta, in accordance with Chapter 162, Florida Statutes, has heard
testimony at the Code Compliance Hearing held on the February 25, 2016, and based on the
evidence and testimony presented, enters an Agreed Order Granting Fine Reduction. The
following Findings of Fact, Conclusions of Law and Order are hereby entered:
TINDINGS
1. Based upon the December 14, 2015 "Order Assessing Fine" for the above - referenced
case number, the Special Magistrate assessed a fine of $1,500.00, which continued to
accrue at a rate of $100 per day until compliance was achieved, and administrative costs
of $218.88. Respondent achieved compliance on February 5, 2016. The total fine for the
period of noncompliance was $7,900.00.
2. The Respondent's Representative requested - a hearing in writing to seek a reduction of the
lien amount assessed. At the hearing on February 25, 2016, the Respondent's

Representative, - Nicole Plunkett of Cotleur & 71earing, and the - Village proposed an
Agreed Order Reducing fine (in writing), which is attached to and memorialized by this
order.
3. Respondent and the Village have agreed to reduce the fine of $7,900.00 to $1,500.00 and
costs of $218.88 from the December hearing, which shall be paid by March 17, 2016 or
the fine shall revert back to the original amount of $7,900.00.
CONLZUSTONS OF LAW AND 01WER
The Parties are hereby ORDERED to comply with the terms of their agreed order. The
fine amount previously imposed is reduced from $7,900.00 to $1,500.00 and costs of $218.88.
The Respondent is hereby ordered to pay this mitigated fine amount by March 17, 2016 or the
free will automatically revert to the original amount
