ARENA WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 7, 2007 1. Call to Order and Roll Call The meeting was called to order by Mayor Jim H taken by Village Clerk Lori McWilliams. Present Mayor Pat Watkins, Council Member Tom Paterno, Member Calvin Turnquest. Also in attendance Couzzo, Jr., Village Clerk Lori McWilliams, Villas Reporter. 2. Approval of the Actenda umpage at 1:00 p.m. A roll call was were: Mayor Jim Humpage, Vice Council Member Amero and Council were: Village Manager Michael R. le Attorney Hawkins and the Court MOTION: Vice Mayor Watkins moved to approve the agenda as presented; seconded by Council MemberAmero. Motion unanimously carried 5-0. At approximately 1:00 p.m. Mayor Humpage recessed the Special Meeting to a Private Attorney Session to discuss pending litigation concerning a lawsuit pending against the Village by Vince Arena, in which the Village was presently a party. Those in attendance were: Mayor Jim Humpage, Vice Mayor Pat Watkins, Council Member Tom Paterno, Council Member Amero and Council Member Calvin Turnquest, Village Manager Michael R. Couzzo, Jr., Village Attorney Hawkins and the Court Reporter. 3. Mayor Humpage announced: A. Pursuant to Chapter 286.011 section (8) of the Florida Statutes, the Village Council is commencing an Attorney Client Closed Door Session for the purpose of discussion litigation strategy in the Village of Tequesta vs. Vince Arena case. B. The estimated length of the session is approximately 1 hour. C. Those persons attending the session are: Mayor Humpage, Vice- Mayor Pat Watkins, Council Member Dan Amero, Council Member Tom Paterno, Council Member Calvin Turnquest, Village Attorney Scott Hawkins, Village Manager Michael Couzzo, Jr., and the Court Reporter D. Attendees retire to the Attorney Client Session Minutes -Village Council Special Meeting 11R/07 Page 2 4. Reconvene Council Meeting The meeting reconvened at 2:07 pm 5. Adjournment MOTION: Vice-Mayor Watkins moved to adjourn the meeting; Council Member Tumquest seconded the motion, which carried by unanimous 5-0 vote.
