TEQUESTA UTILITIES DEPARTMENT MEMORANDUM TO: MICHAEL R. COUZZO, VILLAGE MANAGER FROM: RUSSELL K. WHITE, PUBLIC SERVICES MANAGER SUBJECT: ROW MAINTENANCE SUMMARY DATE: 10/3/2007 The following is a summary of costs and locations of the right of ways we contract out and current costs. I have also listed the area we currently maintain: AREA "A" : Contracted with Rood Outdoor Environments Tequesta Drive - US 1 to Fiesta Drive: $2,023.86 per month, $24,286.32 annually. Beach Road (707): $1,722.88 per month, $20,674.56 annually. US 1 Medians: $933.38 per month, $11,200.56 annually US 1 Right of way - (707 to 215 US 1): $179.37 per month, $2,152.44 annually. Village Blvd.: $294.38 per month or $3,532.56 annually. Country Club Drive (Phase 2): $1,036.08, $12,432,96 annually. Tequesta Drive Drainage Ditch: $185.41 per month, $2,224.92 annually. The total annual cost for area "A" is $76,504.32. I also received a quote to add the Wlater Treatment Plant. and the Public Seruices Garane which we cum maintain and that would increase the annual cost by $31,963.44 to a grand total of ,$108,467.76 for area `A". AREA"B": Contracted with Terracon Services, Inc. Seabrook Road: $1,077.72 per month, $12,932.62 annually. Russell Street Retention Pond: $107.62 per month, $1,291.43 annually. Country Club Dive (Phase 1): $253.00 per month, $3,036.09 annually. Dover Ditch: $1,159.57per month, ,$13,914.87 annually. (Out of this annual cost, $5,566.00 is reimbursed to us by the Town of Jupiter for their portion of the ditch) Therefore the total annual cost to us is $8,348.87 after reimbursement. The annual cost for Area "B" is $31,175.t~ I also received a quote to add the Public Safety, Village Hall complex and the Linear Park to this contract which sve cu~ntly maintain and these would increase the cost by $38,340.00 for a grand total of $69,515.00 for Area "B". By contracting all these areas out, it will cost the Village $177,982.00 a year. Attached, please find a map with all areas highlighted by who maintains each area.
