Chambers, Public Works Superintendent Subject: Tequesta Paxk Ball Field Maintenance Contract Date: August 22, 2016 The attached agenda item addresses the need for a new long term (3 Year) fixed pricing contract to maintain the Ball Fields at Tequesta Park. The current contract with Sheehan Turf Care expires on September 30, 2016. It is my recommendation to award Sheehan Turf Care a three (3) year fixed pricing contract to maintain the Ball Fields at Tequesta Park. This decision is based on pricing and past performance. The Village received maintenance proposals from Sheehan Turf Care, Next Era Landscaping and A Cut above Landscape and Maintenance. Funding for this contract is budgeted in Public Works in account 001- 210 546.309, Landscape and Irrigation Maintenance. The following figures represent the proposals from each contractor. • Sheehan Turf Care: Annual Cost $30,000 3 Year Cost $90,000 • A Cut Above Landscape & Maintenance Annual Cost: $39,360.00 3 Year Cost: $118,080.00 • Next Era Landscaping Annual Cost $97,700.00 3 Year Cost $293,100.00 Douglas M.
