The Planning and Zoning Board of the Village of Tequesta will conduct a Public Hearing in the Village Hall located at the
Village Council Chambers located at 345 Tequesta Drive, Tequesta, Florida on April 21, 2016 at 5:30 p.m., or as soon
thereafter as possible and continuing from time to time and place to place as necessary to act upon the following
development application(s):
SPM 05-16: Application from Tequesta Country Club for a minor site plan modification to remove the existing
chain fence around the Golf Maintenance Faci�ity and replace it with 950 linear feet of six (6) foot tall wooden
fence. The address of the property is 201 Country Club Drive, Tequesta, Fiorida 33469.
VAR 02-16: Application from Mat#hew J. and Sasha G. Melendy for a relief from Sec. 76-20 ja) �1) to allow the
installation of a 122 foot waterward dock length, where the code allows 75 feet; and for relief from Sec. 76-20 (g)
to allow a 610 sq. ft. dock area, where the code allows a maximum 500 square feet. The address of the property is
152 Guffstream Drive, Tequesta, Florida, 33469.
Immediately following the Planning and Zoning Board Public Hearing, the Planning and Zoning Board sitting as the Local
Pianning Agency of the Village of Tequesta will conduct a Public Hearing in the Village Council Chambers located at 345
Tequesta Drive, Tequesta, Florida 33469, continuing from time to time and place to piace as necessary to consider and
make recommendations to the Viliage Council regarding the following proposed ordinance:

FLORIDA, AMENDING THE VILLAGE CODE OF ORDINANCES AT CHAPTER 78. ZONING;
AT ARTICLE X. OFF-STREET AND ON-STREET PARKING AND LOADING REGULATI01>iS,
SECTION 78-705, TO PROVIDE REVISED OFF-STREET PARKING REQUIREMENTS FOR
ADULT CONGREGATE LIVING FACILITIES; AND AT ARTICLE VI. SCHEDULE OF
DISTRICT REGULATIONS. DIVISION 2. SCHE�dl�� OF USE REGULATIONS, SECTION 78-
174, TO PROVIDE NEW REGULATIONS FOR ADULT CONGREGATE LIVING FACILITIES
[N THE R-2 ZONING DISTRICT, INCLUDING THE PROVISION OF "INDEPENDENT
LIVING", "ASSISTED CARE" AND ° �EXTENDE3� (MEMORY) CARE" COMPONEIVTS, AND
TO CLARIFY DENSITY LIMITS FOR ALL LEVE�,S OF CARE IN AN ADULT CONGREGATE
LIVING FACILITY; PROVIDING THAT EAC�I ANII) EVERY OTHER SECTION AND
SUBSECTION OF CHAPTER 78. SHALL REll�AdN IN FULL FORCE AND EFFECT AS
PREVIOUSLY ADOPTED; PROVIDING A CON�'LI�'�'S CLAUSE, A SEVERABILITY CLAUSE

PURPOSES.
Related documents are available for inspection and copying in the office of the Village Clerk at the Village Hall, Monday
through Friday during normal business hours of 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The Public Hearings may be continued from time to
time, as necessary. All interested persons are encouraged to come to the Public Hearings and be heard.
If a person decides to appeal any decision made by the Planning and Zoning Board with respect to any matter considered at
such meetings or hearings, he or she will need to insure that a verbatim record of the proceedings is made, which record
should include the testimony and evidence from which the appeai is to be based. The Village of Tequesta does not provide
such a record.
