In as much as this is an electrical/mechanical piece of equipment it is subject to malfunction; CVDS is the manufacturer of the equipment and provide the service warranty which is renewed annually. [ would like to make note that the warranty package increased from last year's (2015) rate of $3,059.00 to this year's (2016) rate of $3,230.00. CVDS Inc. warrants its products for a period of twelve (12) months against defective parts and workmanship beginning from the customer acceptance date. During the warranty period, CVDS Inc. agrees to either repair or replace any defective equipment or part thereof at its expense. Parts will be provided on an exchange basis, and any parts removed from equipment for exchange are considered the property of CVDS Inc. and shall be returned to CVDS Inc. This warranty does not cover: • Damage due to abuse, misuse, neglect or customers modifications; • Improper wiring, repairing, alteration, installation, or maintenance performed by an unauthorized third-party; • Theft, vandalism, fire, water or peril; • Moving, relocation or alteration of equipment far which prior written approval has not been given by CVDS Inc. • Servicing not authorized by CVDS Inc.; � Usage not in accordance with product instructions; • Problems caused by use of parts and components not supplied by CVDS Inc. Any non-warranty repairs will be charged at current CVDS rates. CVDS Inc. makes no warranty with respect to products which have had their manufacturing serial numbers removed or altered. Upon request from the Village's custodian of public records, CONTRACTOR must provide the Viliage with copies o# requested records, or allow sueh records to be inspected or copied, within a reasonable time in accordance with access and eost requirements of Chapter 519, Florida Statutes. A CONTRACTOR who fails #o provide the public records to the Village, or fails to make them available #or inspec#ion ar copying, wi#hin a reasonable time may be subject to attorney's fees and costs pursuant to Sec. 119.0701, �'larida Statutes, and other penalties under Sec. 119.10, Florida Statutes. Further, CONTRACTOR shall ensure that any exempt or canfidentiai records associated with this Agreement or associated with the performance of the work described in the Proposaf or Bid are not disciosed except as aufihorized by law for the duration of the Agreement term, and #oilawing compietion of the Agreement if the C�NTRACTOR does not transfer the records to the Viliage.
