The business wishes to obtain a"2COP" license to sell beer and wine for on-prernises consumption. In order to obtain a 2COP license, Perk Coffee House must first obtain a variance from Village of Tequesta Code Section 78-298; which precludes the sale of intoxicating beverages for on-premises consumption at an establishment located within 1000 feet of any church, school or youth center. The Perk Coffee House establishment is within 1000 feet of the Church of the Good Shepherd/Good Shepherd Episcopal School (590 ft.). Perk Coffee House has submitted a variance application to the Village of Tequesta to operate a competitive and viable business in Tequesta, amongst other establishments selling beer and wine, including those that have obtained the variance requested herein. The requested variance will comply with the general intent and purpose of the ordinance. The Perk Coffee House wishes to have the concurrence of the Good Shepherd/Good Shepherd Episcopal School in our business obtaining the requested variance in order to obtain the 2COP beer/wine license. If the Good Shepherd/Good Shepherd Episcopal School has no objection to the granting of the requested variance, please sign in the space indicated below and return this letter to the Perk Coffee House in the self-addressed stamped envelope. � Thank you for your anticipated support of our local new business enterprise and please contact me with any questions or concerns.
