RECEIVED FOR TEQUESTA'S GOLDEN TRIBUTE
Please add the attached agenda item to the September 13, 2007 Regular Meeting of the Village Council.
This item is a requesting that we increase the General Fund 2007 Budget to recognize revenues received from
donations to Tequesta's Golden Tribute Celebration and increasing expenditures related to the celebration.
The Tequesta Golden Tribute Committee received donations in the amount of $28,927.18 from various
donors and this item is requesting approval from the Council to use this revenue for expenditures above the
original $50,000 budgeted.

RESOLUTION NO. 78-06/07
A RESOLUTION OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF
TEQUESTA, PALM BEACH COUNTY, FLORIDA, AMENDING THE
2006/2007 GENERAL FUND #001 BUDGET $28,927.18 BY INCREASING
REVENUES IN "DONATIONS - TEQUESTA'S GOLDEN TRIBUTE
ACCOUNT #001-160-366.110 AND INCREASING EXPENDITURES IN
"SPECIAL EVENTS" ACCOUNT #001-160-534.303 IN THIS AMOUNT,
AND AUTHORIZING THE VILLAGE MANAGER TO PROCEED ON
BEHALF OF THE VILLAGE.
WHEREAS, the Village of Tequesta received donations from various donors to be
used for Tequesta's Golden Tribute in the amount of $28,927.18 ,and
WHEREAS, the additional revenue and expenditure was not budgeted, and
WHEREAS, this action will NOT require an appropriation of Fund Balance;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE OF TEQUESTA, PALM
BEACH COUNTY, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. A resolution amending the 2006/2007 General Fund #001 budget
$28,927.18 by increasing revenue account # 001-160-366.110, `Donations - Tequesta's
Golden Tribute" and increasing expenditures in account # 001-160-534.303, `Special
Events', and authorizing the Village Manager to proceed on behalf of the Village, is hereby
approved.
The foregoing Resolution was offered by ,who moved
its adoption. The motion was seconded by ,and upon
being put to a vote, the vote was as follows:

Dear Council members:
As the Tequesta Golden Tribute Committee organized their plans,
their original goals were reached. Then the Committee added
some events. Most of these events, e.g. The Duck Race, The Golf
Tournament, merchandise sales, etc., while raising the
Committee's budget, were set up to be funded by cash donations
and sales from residents, businesses and sponsors. The total
amount of the additional revenues came to $28,927.18.
