BACKGROUND&STAFF ANALYSIS The Island House South West Condominium building was built in 1968.The proposed application does not increase the square footage of existing condominium unit. The subject application is requesting replace a kitchen door and side light with high-impact windows and to replace the entry door and sidelight with a new impact door.The proposed wall color will match existing building color. The Village has processed similar applications in 2012, 2016, and 2017. IV. FINAL REMARKS This development application met the requirements set on Section 78-334 notice of hearing. The notice of hearing was advertised on June 5, 2017. I then have them removing the old service door to the kitchen and adding block to make the opening small and then installing an impact window to mateh the other units in the building that have done the same thing in the past. I will be following the same existing look of the building and would like to be granted permission to complete this project.
