HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution_33-17_08/10/2017 RESOLUTION NO.33-17 A RESOLUTION OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF TEQUESTA, FLORIDA, INCREASING REVENUES AND EXPENDITURES IN THE GENERAL FUND #001 2016/2017 BUDGET IN THE AMOUNT OF $48,000.00 RECOGNIZING ADDITIONAL LAND DEVELOPMENT REVENUES AS WELL AS RECOGNIZING RELATED CONTRACTUAL LABOR AND LEGAL EXPENDITURES AND AUTHORIZING THE VILLAGE MANAGER TO PROCEED IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE VILLAGE'S ADOPTED PROCEDURES; PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY; PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES. WHEREAS, the Village collects land development fees as specified in the attached "Exhibit A-Land Development Fee Schedule"; and, WHEREAS, the Village has incurred additional contractual labor expenditures relating to land development in Fiscal Year 2017; and, WHEREAS, the Village has collected additional fees from the applicants to cover these contractual labor expenditures in Fiscal Year 2017; NOW,THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF TEQUESTA, PALM BEACH COUNTY, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS: Section 1 Resolution No. 33-17 is hereby approved increasing revenues and expenditures in the General Fund #001 2016/2017 Budget in the amount of $48,000.00 recognizing additional land development revenues as well as recognizing related contractual labor and legal expenditures. Section 2 This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon passage. "Exhibit A" APPENDIX D-LAND DEVELOPMENT FEE SCHEDULEv 1. Administrative Charges: a. Additional costs: To cover all additional administrative costs,actual or anticipated, including, but not limited to, : engineering fees,consultant fees and special studies,the applicant shall compensate the ' village for all such costs prior to the processing of the application or not later than 30 days after a. final application approval whichever is determined as appropriate by the village. Failure to make such payment may be grounds for not issuing a building or zoning permit,certificate of . occupancy or completion.
