Subject: Disaster Overtime— Hurricane Matthew
The attached resolution appropriates additional funding for overtime pay in the Fiscal Year 2016/2017
Budget. This overtime pay was incurred during Hurricane Matthew in October 2016,

A RESOLUTION OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF
TEQUESTA, PALM BEACH COUNTY, FLORIDA, INCREASING THE
FISCAL YEAR 2416l2U17 GENERAL FUND #001 BUDGET BY
APPROPRIATING FUND BALANCE IN THE AMOUNT OF $60,283.00
TO FUND ADDITIONAL OVERTIME EXPENDITURES FOR
HURRICANE MATTHEW; PROVIDING FOR SEVER.�BILITY;
PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE,AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the Village of Tequesta deelared a state of emergency due to Hurricane
Matthew on October 5,20 i 6;and,
WHEREAS, the Village incurred additiQnal overtime expenditures as a result of this
state of emergency;
NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE
VILLAGE OF TEQUESTA,PALM BEACH COUNTY,FLORIDA,AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1 Resolution No. 41-17 is hereby approved increasing the Fiscal Year
2416f2017 General Fund #001 Budget by agpropriaiing Fund Balance in the amount of
$60,283.00 to fund additional overtime expenditures; providing for severability; providing an
effective date;and for other purposes.
