The Special Magistrate appointed by the Village Council to hear code compliance cases
for the Village of Tequesta, in accordance with Chapter 162, Florida Statutes, has heard
testimony at the Code Compliance Hearing held on the 18"' day of October, 2017, and based on
the evidence and testimony presented, entered an Order Granting Continuance of the Fine
Assessment Frearing. The�ollowing�ndings ofFact, �onclusions ofI;aw and �5rder are hereby
entered:
FINDINGS OF FACT
1. The Respondent is the owner of the above-described property.
2. The Respondent was represented at the hearing by John Ryan, Interest Holder in
I��:1VI�70-LZ�;Zarry Smith, �ounsel �'or Trenant �ogsnappers) and-Mark �ampbell; fienant
(Hogsnappers); there was also a finding of proper notice.
3. Based upon the evidence,pictures and testimony presented at the hearing on October 18,
2017,the Special Magistrate found that the property remained in violation of Sections 14-152, 14-153,
14-154 and 70-44.

The above-stated facts constitute a continuing violation of Sections 14-152, 14-153, 14-
154 and 70-44 of the Code of Ordinances of the Village of Tequesta.

ORDER
It is the Order of the Special Magistrate that this matter be continued. The Respondent is
hereby ordered to comply with Sections l4-]52, 14-153, 14-154 and 70-44 of the Code of
Ordinances of the Village of Tequesta within sixty (60) days. If the Respondent fails to achieve
compliance within sixty (60) days, a daily Fine of up to Two Hundred Fifty Dollars ($250.00) per
day may be imposed for each day the violation continues to exist.
Assessment of administrative costs incurred by the Village at all prior hearings is hereby
RESERVED.
Please take notice that you must appear at the Fine Assessment Hearing which will be held
on the 18`h day of January, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at Village Hall Council Chambers, 345 Tequesta
Drive, Tequesta, Florida 33469 unless the Code Enforcement Officer certifies that you have
timely brought your property into compliance.
Upon complying in any code compliance matter, it is always the responsibility of the
Respondent to contact the Code Compliance Division at (561) 768-0506 to request a re-
inspection of the property.
