We have had repeated repairs done on the range over the last few years. The range is in poor condition and the most recent repair estimate dated 10/10/2017 is for $1, 532 in order to have the stove and oven operational again. The cost of the repairs over the last several years has exceeded the cost of a new range and it is not cost effective to � � aontinue to., repair it. j � ti �� �t is respect�'ully requested the 2002 U.S. Range be considered out of ;' s�ervice �and the Request to Surplus be granted. ; i . , i � ; j • � , ; r , ' �� � \ � ;, �,� ',�..: M, «. . ti.�� � .��k•= �� ;, �;� .1�.. 1 RESOLUTION NO 49-17 A RESOLUTION OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF TEQUESTA, FLORIDA, DECLARING CERTAIN PROPERTY TO BE SURPLUS AND DIRECTING THE VILLAGE MANAGER TO DISPOSE OF SURPLUS PROPERTY IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE VILLAGE'S ADOPTED PROCEDURES; PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY; PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES. WHEREAS, the Village Council of the Village of Tequesta, Florida, established procedures for disposing of surplus Village property; and WHEREAS, the Village of Tequesta owns a 2002 U.S. Range, Model #5-6-24BG- 2626; and WHEREAS, the Village Council declares the property to be surplus and directs the Village Manager to dispose of the surplus property in accordance with the Village's adopted procedures; and WHEREAS,the Village finds that this Resolution will promote the health, safety and welfare of the Village NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF TEQUESTA, PALM BEACH COUNTY, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS: Section 1: The Village Council of the Village of Tequesta, Florida, hereby declares 2002 U.S. Range to be surplus and directs the Village Manager to dispose of the surplus property in a manner consistent with the Village's adopted procedures. Section 2: All resolutions or parts of resolutions in conflict herewith shall be and hereby are repealed. Section 3: This Resolution shall take effect immediately upon passage.
