The Special Magistrate appointed by the Village Council to hear code compliance cases
for the Village of Tequesta, in accordance with Chapter 162, Florida Statutes, has heard
testimony at the Code Compliance Hearing held on the 16th day of November, 2017, and based
on the evidence and testimony presented, enters an Order Granting Fine Reduction. 'The
- �ollowing Findings ofFact, Conclusions ofLaw and�rder are hereby entered`.
FINDINGS OF FACT
1. Based upon the October 24, 2017 "Order Assessing Fine" for above-referenced case
number, the Special Magistrate assessed a Fine in the amount of Five Hundred Dollars
($500.00).
2. The Respondents requested a hearing seeking reduction of the lien amount assessed.
3. The property is no longer in violation of Section 46-73 of the Code of Ordinances of the
Village of Tequesta.

CONCLUSIONS OF LAW AND ORDER
It is the Order of the Village of Tequesta Special Magistrate that the fine amount
previously imposed be reduced from $500.00 to $250.00. The Respondents are hereby ordered
to pay this mitigated fine amount within forty-five (45) days or the original penalty amount of
$500.00 will automatically be reinstated as a penalty.
