HomeMy WebLinkAboutNotice_Planning and Zoning_11/16/2017 � PUBLIC NOTICE VILLAGE OF TEQUESTA PLANNING AND ZONING BOARD MEETING The Planning and Zoning Board of the Village of Tequesta will conduct a Public Hearing in the Village Hall located at the Village Council Chambers located at 345 Tequesta Drive, Tequesta, Florida on November 16, 2017 at 5:30 p.m., or as soon thereafter as possible and continuing from time to time and place to place as necessary to act upon the following development application(s): SPM 12-17: Application from Tequesta Towers Condominium Association for a site plan modification to install a 150 KW LP operated emergency generator with level 2 acoustic aluminum enclosure on an existing parking stall in the front yard of the premises. The application includes installing a new parking stall on the northeast corner and landscape screening the proposed generator. The color of the generator enclosure will match the existing building wall color.The address of the property is 400 Beach Road,Tequesta, Florida 33469. Immediately following the Planning and Zoning Board Public Hearing, the Planning and Zoning Board, sitting as the Local Planning Agency of the Village of Tequesta, will conduct a Public Hearing in the Village Council Chambers located at 345 Tequesta Drive, Tequesta, Florida 33469, continuing from time to time and place to place as necessary to act upon a Workshop regarding the Evaluation and Appraisal Review (EAR) based �omprehensive Plan Update pursuant to Florida Statutes;and the following: ORDINANCE NO. 22-17 AN ORDINANCE OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF TEQU�STA, FLORIDA, AMENDING CHAPTER 14. BUILDINGS AND BUILDING REGULATIONS. ARTICLE IL BUILDINGS. BY CREATING AN �NTIR�LY NEW SEC. 14-34. T�CHNICAL AMENDMENTS TO THE FLORIDA BUILDING CODE RESIDENTIAL ADOPTED. TO ADOPT LOCAL TCCHNICAL AMENDMENTS TO THE FLORIDA BUILDING CODE, RESIDENTIAL, THAT PROVIDE NEW FREEBOARD REQUIREMENTS MORE STRING�NT THAN THE BUILDING CODE MINIMUM R�QUIREMENTS FOR RESID�NTIAL STRUCTURES; AND BY CREATING AN ENTIRELY NEW SEC. 14-35. TECHNICAL AM�NDMENTS TO THE FLORIDA BUILDING COD� ADOPTED. TO ADOPT LOCAL TCCHNICAL AMENDMENTS TO TH� FLORIDA BUILDING CODE THAT PROVIDE NCW FRE�BOARD REQUIREMENTS MORE STRINGENT THAN THE BUILDING CODE MINIMUM R�QUIREMENTS FOR NONRESIDENTIAL STRUCTURES; PROVIDING TAAT EACH AND �VERY OTHER SECTION AND SUB-SECTION OF CHAPTER 14. SHALL REMAIN IN FULL FORCE AND EFFECT AS PREVIOUSLY ADOPTED; PROVIDING A CONFLICTS CLAUSE, A SEVERABILITY CLAUSE AND AUTHORITY TO CODIFY; PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DAT�; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES. Related documents are available for inspection and copying in the office of the Village Clerk at the Village Hall, Monday through Friday during normal business hours of 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The Pubiic Hearings may be continued from time to time, as necessary. All interested persons are encouraged to come to the Public Hearings and be heard. If a person decides to appeal any decision made by the Planning and Zoning Board with respect to any matter considered at such meetings or hearings, he or she will need to ensure that a verbatim record of the proceedings is made, which record should include the testimony and evidence from which the appeal is to be based.
