VILLAGE OF TEQUESTA
PIANNING AND ZONING BOARD MEETING
The Planning and Zoning Board of the Village of Tequesta will conduct a Public Hearing in the Village Hall located
at the Village Council Chambers located at 345 Tequesta Drive, Tequesta, Florida on December 21, 2017 at 5:30
p.m., or as soon thereafter as possible and continuing from time to time and place to place as necessary to act
upon the following development application(s):
VAR 06-17: Application from Joseph M. &Colleen K. Marchesani for a Variance from Sec. 78-143 to allow
a rear and side setback less than the required minimum 10 feet and 7.5 feet for an existing accessory
structure in the R-1 zoning district; The address of the property is 37 Russell Street, Tequesta, Florida,
33469.
SPM 13-17: Application from MITENCO LC. to modify all exterior building wall and trim colors per Sec. 22-
53 (b).The address of the property is 218 N. U.S. Hwy 1,Tequesta, Florida, 33469.
Immediately foilowing the Planning and Zoning Board Public Hearing, the Planning and Zoning Board, sitting as
the Local Planning Agency of the Village of Tequesta, will conduct a Public Hearing in the Village Council Chambers
located at 345 Tequesta Drive, Tequesta, Florida 33469, continuing from time to time and place to place as
necessary to act upon the following:
ORDINANCE N0. 01-18
AN ORDINANCE OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF TEQUESTA, FLORIDA, AMENDING ITS
COMPREHENSIVE DEVELOPMENT PLAN TO ADOPT EVALUATION AND APPRAISAL REVIEW ("EAR") BASED
AMENDMENTS PURSUANT TO SECTION 163.3191, FLORIDA STATUTES, WHICH PROVIDES FOR AN EVALUATION
AND FOR PLAN AMENDMENTS, IF DETERMINED TO BE NECESSARY; WHICH INCLUDES REVISED TEXT AND MAPS
NECESSARY TO UPDATE THE DATA AND ANALYSIS OF THE COMPREHENSIVE DEVELOPMENT PLAN; PROVIDING
THAT THE TEXT AND MAPS, AS AMENDED OR REVISED, SHALL BE SUBSTITUTED FOR AND REPLACE IN FULL THE
EXISTING TEXT AND MAPS IN ALL AMENDED ELEMENTS; PROVIDING FOR TRANSMITTAI: TO THE STATE LAND
PLANNING AGENCY; PROVIDfNG A CONFLICTS CLAUSE AND FOR SEVERAVILITY CLAUSE; PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE
DATE; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
Related documents are available for inspection and copying in the office of the Village Clerk at the Village Hall,
Monday through Friday during normal business hours of 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The Public Hearings may be
continued from time to time, as necessary. All interested persons are encouraged to come to the Public Hearings
and be heard.
If a person decides to appeal any decision made by the Planning and Zoning Board with respect to any matter
considered at such meetings or hearings, he or she will need to ensure that a verbatim record of the proceedings
is made, which record should include the testimony and evidence from which the appeal is to be based. The
Village of Tequesta does not provide such a record.
