The Strawberry Festival, which we have sponsored every spring for the past 40 years, will be held on our property at 482 Tequesta Dr. on Saturday March 3, 2018 from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. We expect to have approximately 750 attendees during this timeframe. Our peak attendance has traditionally occurred during the first hour of the festival followed by a steady flow during the remaining hours. The included site plans show the designated areas of our buildings and property which will be used for our sales and parking during the event. Exits from each of the buildings are also shown on these plans. Regarding monitoring of visitor loads and fire escapes, we recruit approximately 50-60 volunteers who are identified Uy Uadges and/or attire in all areas of the event. The main entrance as shown on the plan is manned by two or more people who pass out flyers and maps to visitors as they arrive. Each of the other areas used for sales are also manned by volunteers who assist buyers and collect funds. Parking areas are roped off and assigned only by our parkers . No parking is allowed in the driveways around the church. Also, there are no tents used at the event. We wish to employ personnel from the Village to act as security and EMT services for the festival, and have included a $500 check to cover the charges.
