To: Lori McWilliams, Village Clerk
From: James McGrew, Acting Chief of Police
Date: 2/7/2018
Subject: Recordings (91 1 and Non-Emergency)
Lori,
Our Records Department was notified the recording system for 911 Calls and Non-Emergency
Calls were being updated in the county on November 15, 2017. Due to this, there are no records
for this date. The records department is supposed to create a disposition form to reflect the dates
affected. Today, I was informed Records did not do a deposition form as requested by the
Clerk's Office. Please find the attached disposition form, 13-18.
Also, attached is a letter from the 9-1-1 Director for Palm Beach County to the Palm Beach
Gardens Police Department indicating the dates which were affected; and an email identifying
that Tequesta was included in the upgrade and may have been affected.
Thank you, _/kj

Fax:(561)712-6490 As you are aware,we have just completed a major hardware and software upgrade
www.pbcgov.com to the County's 9-1-1 system.
As a result of the upgrade, the ability for the City of Palm Beach Gardens Police
Department to access certain 9-1-1 recordings may have been affected. The dates
of this upgrade period were October 20`h through December 2na, 2017.
We are currently working with our vendor to conduct a complete analysis.
