Village Council:
The Village Infrastructure Surtax Ci#izsn tJversight Committee conducted a publlc
meeting on January 18, 2018 fo ensure that the Surtax proceeds received by the Village
of Tequesta were expended in a manner consistent with Village Council direction, the
�[orida S#atutes, the Interioca( Agreement, Caunty Ordlnance No. 2016-032, and the
ballot language approved by the voters.This annual repart ts preparad pursuant to Viilage
Resafution Na 'i 1-17, adopted February 9, 2017 to document resuits of the Committee's
revisw of surtax expenditures.
As provided in advance of and during the public meefing by Chris Quirk, Finance
Directc�r and Doug Chambers, Deputy Director, Pub€ic WcNlcs, the Surtax proceeds
recefved by the Vltlaga wsra spent as follows:
+ FY 2�16/2017 expenditures ot$63,275 fo replace eighteen t18)sewer manholes;
• FY 2017l2018 expenditures of$83,622 for new sidewalks; and
• �Y 2017/2018 expenditures of$127,297 for road pavement.
The VIllage Infras#ructure Surtax Citizen Oversight Committee has detarml�ed that
these expenditures are cansisfent with fhe requirements of Section 212A55(2), Flarida
Statutes,the bailot language approved by the votersi and the Viflage Council's
approved Surtax proceeds expenditures.
