Engineering Review Cammeiits
Dear Nilsa:
Mock•Roos has completed our review of the [equest for Alley Abandonment and supportin
documentation for the proposed Pelican Square cievelopment, subnitted by Gentile Glas Holloway
O'Malloney& Associates on February 9, 20]8. While the submicted infolmation is conceptual iii nature,
ve see no reason the Viilage should take exception to abandoliment of this platted but unimpcoved sei-ice
alley. However, we suggest abancionmeit be contingent upoia the creation of pernieant utility and
ingress/egress easements across t1e re-platted parcel grantinb eqiiivalent rights currently held by the
Village in the existing altey. We aiso note that the L.etters of Cons:nt provided by the affect;d Uti lit
ovnel•s also carry the requiremelit that the Applicant relocate any existing utilities at their ovn cost. The
conceptual nature of the submitted inforrnation does not address utility relocatiou, but the subsequent
Application for Site Plan Review will need to contaii engineerilg design information for the relocation of
utilities.
If you have any cuestions, please cal( me at 683-31 13, extension 299.
