PROVISION OF INSURANCE PAYMENTS FOR PATIENT CARE, INCLUDING PARTIAL
PAYMENTS FROM COMMERCIAL OR SELF-FUNDED INSURANCE FLANS FOR

December 21, 2017
CALL TO ORDER AND ROLL CALL
The Village of Tequesta Planning & Zoning Board sitting as the Lacal Planning Agency held a
regularly scheduled meeting at the Tequesta Village Hall, 345 Tequesta Drive, Tequesta,
Flarida, on Thursday, December 21, 2017. The meeting was called to arder at 5:57 p.m. Lance
Liily, Gommunity Development Planner, wha noted the failowing were present, took a roll cail:
�Board Chair Janet Strand, Vice Chair Steven Eagen, Board Member Elizabeth Schauer, Board
Member Michael Schmidt, and Alternate Board Member Theresa Maggio. Baard Member
Ashley Warren and Alternate Board Member Leslee Dasher was absent.
Aisa present were Village Attorney Amity Barnard, and Directar af Community Deve(opment
Nilsa Zacarias.
APPROVAL OF AGENDA
MOTION
Board Member Schmidt moved to apprave the amended agenda. Vice Chair Eagen seconded
fhe rrtotion, which carried by unanimous 5-d vc�fe.

MGITION
Vice Chair Eagen moved to approve the minutes af the November 16, 2017 meeting as
submitted. Theresa Maggio seconded the motion, which carried by unanimous 5-0 vote.

AN ORDINANCE OF THE VILLACaE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF TEQUESTA, FLORIDA, AMENDING ITS
COMPRENENSIVE DEVE�OPMENT PLAN T� ADOPT EVA�UATIC}N AND APPRAISA� REVIEW {"EAR"}
BASED AMENDMENTS PURSUANT TO SECTION 163.3191, FLORIDA STATUTES, WHICH PROVIDES FOR
AN EVALUATION AND FOR PLAN AMENDMENTS, IF DETERMINED TO BE NECESSARY; WHICH
INCLUDES REVISED TEXT AND MAPS NECESSARY TC? UPDATE THE DATA AND ANA�YSIS OF TNE
COMPREHENSCVE DEVELOPMENT PLAN; PROVIDING THAT THE TEXT AND MAPS, AS AMENDED OR

MEETING MINUTES
December 21, 2017
Cammunity Development Directar Zacarias mentions that in the November meeting, she
presented a PowerPoint of the Comprehensive Plan and what it entails. During that
presentation, Ms. Zacarias wer�t into cfetail explaining that the Compreher�sive P1an is the
foundation of the Vi(lage and that the land development regulations and site plans need to be
consistent with the Comprehensive Plan.
Ms. Zacarias explains that Comprehensive P1an was brought to the Village Gouncil during two
workshops. The first workshop was on Octaber 30th followed by a December 4'h which is a total
of four workshops between the Local Planning Agency and the . After the Local Planning
Agency hearing, the Comprehensive Plan would be brought befare the Vi!lage Council in the
January 11tn meeting for a transmittal hearing. Once the Uillage CounciC approves the
Comprehensive Plan, Community Development will transmit a copy to the State Land Planning
Agency-Department of Economic Opportunity- and additional seven agencies for review and
camments review.

VILLAGE OF TEQUESTA
PLANNING AND ZONING BOARD MEETING
The Planning and Zoning Board of the Village of Tequesta will conduct a Public Hearing in the Village Hall located
at the Village Council Chambers located at 345 Tequesta Drive, Tequesta, Florida on May 17, 2018 at 5:30 p.m.,
or as soon thereafter as possible and continuing from time to time and place to place as necessary to act upon
the following development application(s):
SPM 6-18: Application from RVT TEQUESTA SHOPPES LLC (known as Tequesta Shoppes) for a Site
Plan Modification to enclose an existing loading dock space on the rear of the Home Goods/Marshalls
tenant space. The subject property is located at 105 N. US Hwy 1,Tequesta, FL 33469.
SPM 7-18: Application from Gerald M. Barbarito DD JCL Bishop of Diocese of Piam Beach (known as
St. Jude Catholic Church) for a Site Plan Modification to install a 1,246 square foot Adoration Chapel
including landscape plans. The application also includes the installation of a 32 Kw emergency generator
on the east side of the existing residency building. The subject property is located at 204 N. US Hwy 1,
Tequesta, FL 33469.
SPM 8-18: Application from RVT TEQUESTA SHOPPES LLC (known as Tequesta Shoppes) for a Site
Plan Modification to install a metal translucent and operable awning on the courtyard, modify storefront
openings, and remove an existing canopy and exterior bar area on the Josko Bar and Oven tenant space.
The application also includes installing artwork on the courtyard wall and replacing the existing metal
railing and gate at the entrance. The subject property is located at 157 N. US Hwy 1, Tequesta, FL
33469.
Immediately following the Planning and Zoning Board Public Hearing, the Planning and Zoning Board, sitting as
the Local Pianning Agency of the Village of Tequesta, will conduct a Public Hearing in the Village Council
Chambers located at 345 Tequesta Drive, Tequesta, Florida 33469, continuing from time to time and place to
place as necessary to act upon the following:

Related documents are available for inspection and copying in the office of the Village Clerk at the Village Hall,
Monday through Friday during normal business hours of 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The Public Hearings may be
continued from time to time, as necessary. All interested persons are encouraged to come to the Public
Hearings and be heard.
