Re: Jupiter Hills Club EMS Fees
The�Ilage entered into an Agreement with The Jupiter Hills Club to provide Emergency
Medical Services during the 2018 U.S. Amateur Four-Ball Championship for the period
May 16—24�', 2018 at the rate of Fifty Dollars ($50.00) per person /per hour.
The Village received payment from the Jupiter Hills Club in the amount of Fourteen
Thousand One Hundred Seventy-Five Dollars ($14,175) in payment of those fees.
The Fire-Rescue Department incurred Overtime Fees to staff the event in the amount of
Fourteen Thousand One Hundred Dollars ($14,100).
It is respectfully requested the Fire Department be able to use the monies collected to
offset the cost of the personnel expenditures that were incurred as a result of the services
provided.
RESOLUTION NO. 27-18
A RESOLUTION OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF
TEQUESTA, FLORIDA, INCREASING REVENUES AND
EXPENDITURES IN THE GENERAL FUND #001 2017/2018 BUDGET IN
THE AMOUNT OF $14,175.00; AUTHORIZING THE VILLAGE
MANAGER TO PROCEED IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE VILLAGE'S
ADOPTED PROCEDURES; PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY;
PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
WHEREAS,the Village entered into an agreement with Jupiter Hills Club Inc.to provide
emergency medical services at the 2018 U.S. Amateur Four-Ball Championship held on
May 16-24, 2018; and,
WHEREAS, the Village collected fees from Jupiter Hills Club Inc. in the amount of
$14,175.00 as payment for these services; and,
WHEREAS, the Fire Department would like to use the fees that were collected to offset
the cost of the personnel expenditures that were incurred as a result of the services
provided; and,
NOW,THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE
VILLAGE OF TEQUESTA, PALM BEACH COUNTY, FLORIDA,AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1 Resolution No. 27-18 is hereby approved increasing revenues and
expenditures in the General Fund#001 2017/2018 Budget in the amount of$14,175.00.
Section 2 This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon passage.
