CALL TO ORDER AND ROLL CALL
The meeting was called to order at 5:45 p.m. by Board Chair Janet Strand. Community
Development Planner, Lance Lilly, took a roll call. Present were: Board Chair Janet Strand,
Vice Chair Steven Eagen, Board Member Elizabeth Schauer, Board Member Michael Schmidt,
Board Member Leslee Dasher and Alternate Member Theresa Maggio. Also present were
Village Attorney Amity Barnard and Community Development Director Nilsa Zacarias. Board
Member Elizabeth Schauer and Board Member Ashley Warren were absent.
APPROVALOFAGENDA
MOTION: Board Member Dasher moved approval of the agenda; seconded by Board Member
Schmidt; motion carried unanimously 5-0.
1. Approval of Previous Meeting Minutes
MOTION: Vice Chair Eagen moved approval of the minutes; seconded by Board Member
Dasher; motion carried unanimously 5-0.
2. SPM 9-18:
Application from Brian W. Hartwiger to modify canopy wall and trim colors from existing
Apex Texaco colors to Chevron colors per Sec. 22-53 (b). The application also includes
wall signs to the canopy and the installation of a monument sign. The address of the
property is 250 S. U.S. Hwy 1, Tequesta, Florida, 33469.
Village Attorney Amity Barnard announced the quasi-judicial nature of the item and swore in
Gustavo Cala. The Board Members disclosed no ex-parte communication. SPM 9-18 was
opened to the Board for questions and comments.
MOTION: Vice Chair Eagen moved to approval of SPM 9-18; seconded by Board Member
Maggio; motion carried 5-0.

BOARD COMMENTS
There was none.
ADJOURNMENT: Board Dasher moved adjournment; seconded by Vice Chair Eagen; the
motion to adjourn carried unanimously 5-0; therefore, the meeting was adjourned at 5:50 P.M.
