Met with Fire Chief Weinand at 2:30 pm on November 9t'' A Staff Meeting was conducted on November 10th, wherein the following items were discussed: 1. Fire Chief was questioned as to where the Village would store an emergency generator anticipated from grant application. 2. Finance Director was requested to set dates for Pension Board's Meetings in 1999 and distribute same to Board. 3. Director of Community Development was requested to report on status of his discussions with Post Office in Tequesta Oaks for retention pond reduction and wall/fence barrier with Tequesta Oaks. 4. A discussion with the Police Chief was held relative to political sign ordinance. 5. Call-back procedures and feasibility of time clocks were discussed with Finance Director and Acting Water System Manager. 2 6. Director of Community Development was advised that a satellite dish had been discovered at the Independent Community Bank and was asked the status of the non- permitted satellite dishes at Mobil Station and the former Drivers' License Bureau. 7. Chief of Police submitted a cost/benefit report relative to the motor cycle. 8. Chief of Police was questioned as to the need for names within the Crime Activity Report. 9. Acting Water System Manager reported on contract meter reading via Avitar. 10. Acting Water System Manager reported on problems with storage tank removal at Village Hall. 11. Acting Water System Manager reported on status of expansion of water service to Martin County and was requested to get finance options and grant data. 12. Acting Water System Manager reported that Reject Main Project passed pressure tests. 13.
