Two bids were received and are summarized on the attached letter from Tom Jensen, P.E., Reese, Macon dt Assodatesy ow engineering consultants, who have reviewed and evahiated the bids and the qualifications of the bidders. In reviewing the samey staff recommends award of the bid to Aquifrr Maintenance & Performance Systems (AMPS) of Davies Florida, in the amount of $$9,450. These funds will be expended over a 16 month contract period (June 1, 1999 through September 30, 2000) and cover well relhabilitation for the V'illage's surficdal wens for the remainder of this Fiscal Year (FY 1998/1999) and for Fiscal Year 1999/2000, subject to funds being appropriated and approved by the Village Council for FY 1999/2000. This contract is based on a unit cost per well for rehabilitation aad on an "as needed" basis. Only those wells identified as requiring rehabilitation will be authorized and only within the Village's budget allocation for the same. Funding for Well Rehabilitation in this fiscal year will be provided for from the Water FAterprise Fund,. E~ $ad-Maintenance Fund, having a l~"Y 1998/1999 buds allocation of $40,000.
