Subject: YMCA of Tequesta Signage
Please be advised that the Village of Tequesta supports the
efforts of the YMCA of Tequesta to install a sign on the Tequesta
Recreation Center building at 399 Seabrook Road. All Community
Development fees for this signage will be paid by the Recreation
Department, Account No. 23-572-0-2-4601.

advertising only the sale, lease or rental of said lot or
the improvements thereon. No off-site signs shall be
permitted except, however, one (1) open house direc-
tional sign of not more than two (2) square feet, located
on the same block as an advertised open house is per-
daylight hours on Saturday and/or
mitted during

Sunday only. Said sign shall be exempt from any vil-
(b) lage permitting requirements.
In residence districts R-2 and It-3, one (1) sign shall be
allowed attached to the building or structure thereon,
if any, provided that no signs in any case shall be
larger than twenty (20) square feet.
(c) Identification signs at entrances to .driveways and/or
parking lots not to exceed two (2) square feet in size.
(d) Signs in any residential district which advertise the
sale, rental, or lease of real estate shall be removed no
later than three (3) days subsequent to said sale, rent-
al, or lease. Sale, rental, or Iease shall be deemed to be
the date upon which a contract for such sale, rental or
lease is fully executed. Said sign shall be exempt from
any village permitting requirements.
(e) Signs in any R,/O$ District shall be granted only upon
roval by the community appearance board and by
a

the village council subsequent to site plan review.
(f) Churches or synagogues located in residential districts
shall be allowed signage as follows:
1. Free standing sign: One (1) freestanding-sign shall
be allowed, not to exceed thirty (30) square feet in
total area, a maximum height of seven (7) feet
above finish grade, shall meet the setback require-
ment of subsection (I) of these regulations and up
to fifty (50) percent of the approved sign may be
used as a changeable letter reader sign.
;• 2. Wall sign: One (1) wall mounted sign per building
shall be allowed, not to exceed twenty (20) square
feet in total area and be constructed using indi-
vidual raised letters andJor be metal plaque type
signs.
3. Monument sign: One (1) ground based monument
