~~''
please find a copy of a letter of September
Executive Director Rick Dent pertaining to
I have reviewed each of lift station sites
discussed the same with Rick Dent and
the contents of his attached letter except
1) Station No. 58 located on Beacon Street currently
does not have any landscaping. Landscaping should be
provided.
2) Station No. 78 located at Dover Circle was never
activated, nevertheless an unsightly tank of some
sort exists there and should be sight screened with
landscaping.
It is my opinion that if ENCON agrees to landscape the
above mentioned lift stations and the Village Council concurs
then the Village should issue a C.O. upon the acceptable
completion of the newly constructed lift station located at
Blair House on Tequesta Drive. This matter will be an agenda
item for your consideration at the Village Council Meeting of
October 20, 1987.

RICHARD C. DENT. II
EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
In response to your letter of September 1, 1987 and verbal
confirmation that the Tequesta Village Council rejected a
subsequent proposal which I presented, through you, in early
September, the issue of our liftstations was taken to my
Governing Board for consideration.
The Governing Board has requested that I continue to work
with you to provide a fair and reasonable resolution to
the situation on an administrative level. The notion that
you and I resolve the concern was endorsed by Mr. John Giba
during my phone conversation with him on September 21.
When I asked him what specific improvements he felt were
needed to the stations, he replied that he was unaware of
the location of many of the stations and would, therefore,
accept the resolution which you and I had tentatively made
on Wednesday, September 16.
The specifics of our conversation concerning improvements
are summarized below. In fairness, I recognize your proviso
that your opinion and agreement may well be subject to modi-
fication by your Council.
