HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution_40-08_09/11/2008RESOLUTION 40-08 A RESOLUTION OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF TEQUESTA, PALM BEACH COUNTY, FLORIDA, APPROVING A PROPOSAL FROM CENTERLINE UTILITIES INC., OF JUPITER FLORIDA, FOR THE BEACH ROAD WATER MAIN REPLACEMENT IN THE AMOUNT OF $84,450.00, WITH FUNDING COMING FROM ACCOUNT # 401-414 662.641 HAVING A FY 07/08 BUDGETED AMOUNT OF $85,000.00, AND AUTHORIZING THE VILLAGE MANAGER TO EXECUTE ON BEHALF OF THE VILLAGE. WHEREAS, The Village Council of the Village of Tequesta continues to improve the water system.. WHEREAS, Over the past few years this main has failed. WHEREAS, The Village Council has budgeted for this project. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF TEQUESTA, PALM BEACH COUNTY, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS: Section 1 Proposal for this project attached exhibit "A" Section 2 Resolution 40-08 is hereby approved Section 3 This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon passage. The foregoing Resolution was offered by Vice-Mayor Turnquest who moved its adoption. The motion was seconded by Council Member Humpage and upon being put to a vote, the vote was as follows: Mayor Pat Watkins Vice-Mayor Calvin Turnquest Council Member Vince Arena Council Member Tom Paterno Council Member Jim Humpage For Adoption Against Adoption X X X X X The Mayor thereupon declared the Resolution duly passed and adopted this 11 day of September, 2008.
