HomeMy WebLinkAboutMinutes_Special Meeting_02/26/1980MINUTES OF THE VILLAGE PUBLIC HEARING OF THE COUNCIL • OF THE VILLAGE OF TEQUESTA, FLORIDA FEBRUARY 26, 1980 A Public Hearing was held by the Village Council of the Village of Tequesta at 7:00 P.M., Tuesday, February 26, 1980 in the Village Hall, 357 Tequesta Drive, Tequesta, Florida. Councilmembers present were: Brown, Cook, Mapes, Ryan and Yoder. Also present were: Robert Harp, Village :Manager, Cyrese Colbert, Village Clerk and John C. Randolph, Village Attorney. Mayor Brown called the meeting to order. The Village Attorney read Section 16.7, Special Exception Uses of the Village Code of Ordinance and explained the purpose of this meeting was to consider a Special Exception Use for the JIB Club, Inc. Mr. Tom Roth, 169 Beacon Lane, Jupiter Inlet Colony asked the following questions: 1. Is this a Public Marina 2. Is there going to be a dry dock 3. Are they going to sell boats. • The Village Attorney told Mr. Roth that this is a private Marina not a public Marina. Mr. Von Zabern added this will be open to the Public of Jupiter Island and Tequesta. Mapes moved, "that the meeting be closed". Cook seconded and vote on the motion was: Brown for Cool for Mapes for Ryan for Yoder for and therefore the motion was passed and adopted.
