FEBRUARY 27, 1979
SITE PLAN REVIEW
A Site Plan Review meeting was held by the Council of the
Village of Tequesta, Florida, Tuesday, February 27, 1979 in the Village
Hall, 357 Tequesta Drive, Tequesta, Florida. Councilmembers present
were: Brown, napes, Ryan, Yoder and Cook. Also present were Robert Harp,
Village Manager, John C. P.andolph, Village Attorney and A. W. Butterfield,
Village Building Official.
Mayor Brown advised that the Site Plan Review was for the
service bays addition to the Apex Texaco Service Station, U.S. No. 1 and
Bridge Road. Butterfield advised the proposed addition and landscaping
had been approved previously by the Village Community Appearance Board.
He also stated there were an adequate number of parking spaces provided
and that all applicable items on the Site Plan Review Check List were
satisfactory. He stated the traffic flow plan was indicated on the site
plan. Brown asked for the Building Official's recommendation on the
proposed construction. Butterfield recommended it be approved.
• Mapes asked about ownership of the property along the road from
Bridge Road south to Burger Chef and. was advised the road is owned by the
owner of Burger Chef property, and Apex Texaco property abuts this property.
A hedge is to be planted along the west Apex Texaco property line. Brown
asked who owned the property west of Texaco and was advised the Gill
Corporation was the owner.
Brown asked about a hole in the south side of Bridge P.oad at the
driveway to the station and Hartwiger advised the Village had fixed same.
All of the Councilmembers indicated that the proposed improve-
ments would be a good addition to the area.
The Village Attorney said the matter of approval would be done
at the Regular Council Meeting to follow and it was an agenda item.
The Site Plan Review was concluded at 7:20 P.P•1.
