MINUTES OF THE PUBLIC HEARING OF THE COUNCIL
OF THE VILLAGE OF TEQUESTA, FLORIDA
June 26, 197y

A Public Hearing of the Council of the Village of Tequesta,
Florida was held at 7:00 P.M., Tuesday, June 26, 179 in the
Village Hall, 357 Tequesta Drive, Tequesta, Florida. Councilmembers
present were Mapes, Ryan and Yoder. Mayor Brown had advised he
may be late in arriving. Councilmember Cook was out-of -town.
Also present were Robert Harp, Village Manager, Cyrese Colbert,
Village Clerk and John C. Randolph, Village Attorney. Vice-Mayor
Mapes called the meeting to order.
Mr. John Giba, Village of Tequesta Planning Consultant,
advised that the Local Governmental Comprehensive Planning Act
of 1y75 requires that each Municipality and County in the State
of Florida develop, submit and adopt a Comprehensive Plan by
July 1, 179. The Village of Tequesta held the required meetings
and each one was duly advertised. On June 12,.1y7y the Village
Council held the first of the required two Public Hearings to
adopt the Plan.
Mr. Giba also advised Council that they have received revised
copies of Section 7.0 Coastal Zone Protection/Conservation and
revised copies of page 12.3, 12.4, 12.5 and 12.6 of the Comprehensive
Plan. He told Council that the plan is up-to-date at this time.
