HomeMy WebLinkAboutMinutes_Special Meeting_09/11/1979LJ MINUTES OF THE PUBLIC HEARING OF THE VILLAGE OF TEQIJESTA, FLORIDA September 11, 1979 • A Public Hearing on the proposed 1979-1980 Budget was held by the Council of the Village of Tequesta, Florida, at 7:00 P.M., Tuesday, September 11, 1979 in the Village Hall, 357 Tequesta Drive, Tequesta, Florida. Councilmembers present were Brown, Cook, Mapes and Ryan. Yoder was on vacation. Also present were Robert Harp, Village Manager, Cyrese Colbert, Village Clerk and John C. Randolph, Village Attorney. The Village P4anager announced that this Public Hearing was duly advertised in the newspaper and letters were sent to local radio stations and one television station. The Village Manager reviewed the proposed Water Department Budget with Council. The Village Manager and Council discussed the Revenues and Expenditures of the proposed General Fund Budget. Under RevenuesjCouncil authorized the Village Manager to change the Police Message Desk Service from Jupiter Inlet Colony to $1,400. from $1,200. They wanted the Administrative Management fee from the Water Department to the Village increased from $7,000. to $8,000. and the Office Rent from the Water Department to the Village increased from $5,000. to $6,000. Council also instructed the Manager to make provisions for a Financial Director at an estimated base salary of $17,117. with other payroll accounts adjusted. The Legal's Counsel's fee was reduced to $22,000. and the road line item under Transportation, was reduced to $223,000. The meeting was adjourned at ~-,~ , ~ Date Approved _~, ~-~ _ -~ Howard 'F.
