THE VILLAGE OF TE~UESTA, FLORIDA

A Council Meeting of the Village of Tequesta, Florida
was held on Tuesday, March $, 1577 at 7:30 P.,M. in the
Village Hall. Present were Baron, Brown, Campbell, Huggins
and Yoder. Also present were Robert Harp, Village Manager,
Cyrese Colbert, Village Clerk and John C. Randolph, Village
Attorney. Vice-Piayor Brown gave the opening Prayer and Pledge
of Allegiarxce to the Flag.
PZr. UJilliam Brennan thanked Mrs, Campbell and Mr. Baron
f'or being on Council and the Village Clerk made the announcements
about voting and absentee ballots. Mayor Campbell made the
announcements.
N~aycr Campbell read a Proclamation of Red Cross Month,
The Village ManagerTs Report from February 12 through
• March 6, 1'77 were received.
Mr. Robert Sattley asked. about the Village of Tequesta
city limit signs.
The Village Attorney read a Resolution of the Village
Council a?proving assignment of Tri-Southern Utilities Company,
Inc, contract to Loxahatchee River Environmental Control District.
Huggins moved, "f'or adoption of the Resolution". Yoder seconded.
Vote on the motion was:

Campbell -For
Huggins -For
Yoder -For
and therefal~•n Resolution No. 9-76/77 was passed and ador~ted on
first reading.

Benevolent ^.::soci,t.~.on and told Council.. he was waiting to hear
from Pir. Parka fo.:~ r~iore information.

Council that Tequesta Drive received a semi-final ins,~ectiori
today and rye exr.~ects to have the contractor out in about two
(2) weeks.
Mr. ~":'illiam B. Sydow, Gee 8c Jenson Engineers-Architect~~-
Planners, Inc. presented Council with a Supplemental Agreement
amending an Agreement dated June 26, 1973 between the Village
cf Tequesta and Gee 8c Jenson Engineers-Architects-Planners, Inc.
Brown moved, "that we authorize Gee & Jenson to proceed with the
~~~reparation of plans and specifications for 12 inch water main
along County Line Road and across the Narth Fork of the Loxahatchee
River". Vote on the motion was:

and therefore the motion was adopted.

receiving and approving bids". Vote on the motion was:

Council discussed the ~~roblem that.- Jupiter is concerned
that the "No Thru Truck" tra:i'fic signs, the Village has installed,
rriay cause heavy traffic on Center Street in Jupiter.
The discussion of installation of street lights an median
strip on Tequesta Drive was tabled until the April 12, 1977 Council
Meeting.

Huggins moved, "that we enter into agreement with Palm
• Beach County for uniform maintenance of all of the Village Ts
traffic control devicestt. The motion was adopted.
Council authorized the Village Manager to write a letter
to Florida Power & Light about the recent shortage of electrial
power the Village has experienced.
The meeting was ad,journe at 11:47 P.M.
