PrUsent ~~~ere Brown, T~'iapes, Ryan and Yoder. Huggins was out of to:,rn on business. Also .present were Robert Harp, Village Tanager, Cyrese Colbert, Village Clerk and John C. Randolph, Village Attorney. Opening Prayer and Pledge of Allegiance the Flag ~~,as given by Counciltrxan Ryan. Changes to tale Hgenda were made and approved. Mayor Brawn made the announcements. The Counci~t A~Ieeting Minutes far April 12, 1977 were received. The Council Meeting Minutes for April 26, 1977 were received as corrected. The Tillage Manager's Report for April 24 through Tuiay 7, 1977 were received and the Emergency Special Council T'~;>eting T~~inutes for PCay 3, 1977 were received. NTr. J. Clement Johns~an., now Fresder~t of the Tequesta Association of Voters and Taxpayers was present and told Council • the Taxpayers ~.ssaciation hoes to work closely with the Council. The Village Attorney gave secox-:d reading "by fitly only" of an Ord:finance adopting and enactini a new code of Ordinances ~c>r the Village of Tequesta. Yoder moved, "that we adopt the Ordinance enacting a new code of OzuinanLes11. Ryan -r'~,r Yoder For ~,~. fir:; 05-10-77 -2 and therefore Resolution No, 13-76/77 was passed and adopted. • The Council authorized the Village Attorney to ?proceed with the necessary action needed to change the common boundary between Tequesta and Jupiter along the East right-of -way of State Road 5 (U.5.~1) North of State Road 707 to soutY~ Village limits. The Council, Village Manager and Village Attorney discussed the fire protection fee for users of water on the Tequesta Water System. Council directed the Village Manager to amend the budget by $7,40C out of the Village Operating Fund and adjust the Village Operating Fund accordingly. The Village Manager read by "titly only" a Resolution urging the State Legislature to pass a bill which would provide primarily that identification shall be issued to certain permanently disabled persons whether or not they own or operate motor vehicles for purpose of parking privileges". Ryan seconded the motion and vote on the motion was: Brown -For Ma pe s -Fo r Ryan -For Yoder -For and therefore Resolution No. 14-76/77 was passed and adopted, Yoder moved, "to accept the resignation of Carl L. Long (Village Civil Preparedness Director) with regret". The motion vaas seconded and adopted. Mayor Brown read the May 6, 1977 letter to Council from Gee & Jenson Engineers-Architects-Planners, Inc. on water supply and distribution system improvements status report as of N1ay 6, 1977. Council discussed with the Village Manager and Village Attorney the possible water taps release for people on the Water Waiting List.
