The Village Council discussed with the Attorney the proposed Charter Revisions then agreed with the list (letter to the Vi.1J.age Attorney from! Village Tanager dated June 23,1977). The Village Attorney advised Co~zncil of the pending court case on the Sign Ordinance. P~Tr. ~'lilliam B. Sydow, Gee ~ Jer~sor~ Engineers -Architects - Flanners, Inc., advised Council of the delay in delivery of expansion joint needed for the connectiory to Tri-Southern Utilities, Inc. The joints ti•aere ready for shipment T~Tonday, June 27, 1977. :then the joints arrive the hook-up time will be one (1) week. Tyr. Sydow also reported the Florida Department of Envirorirnerrtal Regulation said temporary use of presst~rc filters ?flas not alloy-~aecl, blxt that D.E.R. did give its approval o_:' the installation of gravity filters for use in the existing Teclucsta wells. Tyr. Sydot.a read his letter to Council dated June 2~w, 1977. After some discussion ITuggins moved, "that the PTayor be authorized to execute the necessary change order to the contract to accomplish the - r 06-2$-77 -2 installation of gravity filters as described in this June 24, 1977 Gee ~ Jenson letter". Mapes seconded and vote on the motion was: Brown -For Huggins -For Mapes -For Ryan -For Yoder -For and therefore the motion was passed and adopted. Councilmembers gave their reports. Huggins moved, "that the Village Nianager be directed to write a letter for submission to the County Commission and School Board expressing the Village of Tequesta Councils concern that increased proper~,y evaluationswill lead to a dramatic increase in taxation-ems line with previous years experience, or words to -~1~ ef'ect", The motion was passed and adopted, that Huggins moved, '1to accept the resignation of Linda Huggins as alternate member to the Community Appearance Board".
