A Council P~~aeting of the Village of. Tequest,a, Florida,
~~,aas held on Tuesday, July 12, 1c77 at ;':30 P.T~~. in the
Village Hall. Present were Brown, Huggins, Aiapes, Ryan
and `Coder. Also present were Robert Harp, ?Tillage A~Zanager,
C~rrese Colbert, Village Cler~> ar~d John C. Randolph, Village
Attorney. Opening Prayer and Pledge of Allegiance to the
Flag was given by Vice-Talayor i~~apes.
Approval of the Agenda ~~~as rriade and i~iayor Brown made the
anrZOUr~cernents. The minutes of the June 14., 1° t7 Council
I'eeting and t,l°re Village It~anager~ t s ~~ort for June a6, 1.77
to July ~', 1`,'?7 were received.
P•r. Robert Sattley and I'"r. F•"iorroT,~J spoke from the floor.
Huggins rr~oved, t'for adoption of second reading (by

and trierefore the motion titi~as adopted and Ordinance I3o, ?5~
was passed and adopted utz second reading.
The Village Attorney and Council reviewed, before first
reading, an Ordinance provid:~ rig for revi ;ions to the Village
Charter.
Council decided to proceed ~~~ith the other ~_tems on the
agenda then go back to t?:e first r•eadir~g of the Ordinance
since it is so lenghty.
i~~iapes moved, ''that t:~e Village 1•`~anager be authorized to
enter into agreement witls tlt~ United States Department of
Interior, per their letter June 2~', 1°7°~), f.or the fiscal
rear 197 at a Gosh of ~2,~50,00 providing there are Federal
l~~atching Funds to meet our e~2,b50.00t'. Yoder seconded and the
rr.otion was gassed and adopted..

Huggins moved, "that the Council accept the resignation of
Thomas C. Johannes from the Recreation Advisory Board and that
the Village Manager be-authorized to send a letter of appreciation"
• The motion was passed and adopted.
Huggins moved, "that the July 26, 1977 we hold a Workshop
Nieeting, beginning at 7:00 P.M., on discussion on Preliminary
Financial Feasibility Report for purchase of Tri-Southern
Utilities, Inc. with regular meeting to follow and that notice
of this workshop be published in the local press". The motion
was passed and adopted.
The Village Attorney with the help of the Village Manager
read, in full, first reading of an Ordinance providing for
revisions to the Village Charter. Huggins moved, "for adoption
of this Ordinance on first reading". The motion was seconded by
Ryan and vote on the motion was:
